Making a Payment to Wishaw and District Housing 

The most common reason for making payments to Wishaw and District Housing is for the payment of rent
(you can get an up-to-date balance of your rent account by texting BAL to 07529-777345, or speak to your Housing Officer on 01698-377200).

However, there are other reasons why you may have to make payments to Wishaw and District Housing, such as

  • Rechargeable repairs
  • Former tenant arrears 
  • Annual property management charges (for owner occupiers and sharing owners).

DIRECT DEBITS can be set up weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly, depending on your income, and are deducted direct from your bank account.  You can set up a Direct Debit either by contacting the office (in person or by phone).

  • White for rent - issued at the start of your tenancy
  • Yellow for rechargeable repairs and factoring

You can also set up a Standing Order with your bank, however, this means you will be responsible for making any adjustments for any changes to your rent.

You can also make CHEQUE or DEBIT CARD payments via Wishaw and District Housing by simply phoning or calling into the office during normal office hours (if paying by cheque, please remember to write your name, address and reference number and a note of what the payment is for on the back of the cheque).
