The Association has set target response times within which our contractors are expected to respond to a repair:
| EMERGENCY REPAIRS | This would include plumbing and electrical faults that would represent a danger to health and safety (e.g. no heating or hot water emergency up to 8.00pm in the evening, loss of all electricity) as well as repairs necessary to secure a property (e.g. board a broken window, fix a front door so that it can be locked). OUR OBJECTIVE IS THAT ANY HAZARD |
|---|---|
| URGENT REPAIRS | Urgent repairs would be those that are required to protect both the internal and external fabric of the building (e.g. choked sink, loss of common lighting). WE AIM TO ENSURE THAT URGENT REPAIRS |
| ROUTINE REPAIRS | All other repairs that do not represent a danger to either the tenant or the property would be classed as routine repair. OUR TARGET TIME FOR COMPLETING |
N.B. If parts and/or materials are required to carry out a repair, the work might not be completed within the stated timescales as these often have to be ordered. In such cases a temporary repair will be carried out until the materials required are available.
