Wishaw and District Housing Association - Property Management Services

The Association aims to provide a comprehensive Property Management Service to ensure that all the common areas and parts are maintained to the highest possible standard.  Staff carry out regular inspections to identify any repair work or maintenance work that needs to be done to keep the areas clean, tidy and safe.  The type of work we provide includes;

  • Landscaping of common areas, including grass cutting, maintaining shrub beds and pruning trees
  • Repairing and painting of boundary fences and public gates
  • Removal of grafitti
  • Maintaining play areas
  • Maintaining and repairing common parts in flats such as gutters and roofs
  • Maintaining common lighting
  • Liaising with North Lanarkshire Council on the upkeep of public footpaths and car parking
  • Organising and supervising maintenance contracts

More information and further details on the Property Management Service provided by Wishaw and District Housing Association are available in the Association's Property Management (Common Parts) Policy.

The costs charged back to residents are the actual costs of the work and the Association makes no profit from carrying out the role of property manager.  It does however have to charge an administration and management fee to cover the costs of employing staff to carry out the property management function.  The Association will make every effort to ensure that this administration charge is kept as low as possible.
