Wishaw and District Housing Association - Owners Services

As a result of the Right to Buy legislation and Low Cost Home Ownership initiatives many of the estates and buildings that the Association manages are what is called mixed tenure and include tenants of the Association, sharing owners and owner occupiers.  Most of these areas have common parts that we all have a joint responsibility to ensure are properly maintained.

In its role as Property Managers, Wishaw and District Housing Association will carry out the co-ordination and arranging of necessary works on behalf of residents.  This is commonly known as Factoring.  Both the direct and the administration costs of providing this factoring service are shared equally between every resident in that particular estate or building.
