Wishaw and District Housing Association's Owners Handbook

There are some important differences in the responsibilities between owners that live in a block of flats to those living in houses.  In the main, this is because owners in flats have responsibilities for the upkeep and maintenance of the common parts of the building.  The Association may also have a bigger role in the management of the block than it does over owners in individual houses.

The Association has therefore produced two handbooks for owners - one for Owners in Tenemental Blocks and one general handbook for Owners. Both handbooks outline the rights and obligations of owner occupiers, gives advice and hints on maintaining their property as well as information on the Association and the services it provides.
