Wishaw and District Housing Association - Home Contents Insurance

Owners and Sharing owners living in properties managed by the Association can insure their home contents through the Diamond Insurance Scheme which is administered through the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.  The scheme is intended to encourage residents to ensure that they have adequate insurance in the event of a disaster in their home by offering low cost, comprehensive insurance cover for all household and personal belongings such as;

• White Goods (washing machine, fridge, cooker etc)
• Furniture & Carpets
• Entertainment Equipment
• Jewellery
• Decoration

The scheme will also cover items stored in outhouses such as adjoining garages and sheds and all items other than clothing and household linen will be covered on a 'new for old' basis.

If you do not already have Home Contents Insurance,
you are strongly advised to arrange cover before you have a disaster in your home.
