Wishaw and District Housing Association is a full participating partner in the North Lanarkshire Common Housing Register. This means that one common application form is used to access housing from any of the participating landlords.
This means all applicants have only to fill in one application form. You can return your form to any of the partner landlords offices. If you have already filled in a form with another landlord and want to add our areas again this can be done at any landlords offices.
You should not be sent to other landlords.
The Common Housing Register (CHR) should make it easier for you to apply and keep your application up to date. You can call at the location that suits you.
The consequencies of participating in the CHR can mean however that demand has grown for our stock, for example, prior to participating in the CHR, Wishaw and District Housing Association had just over 1,000 applicants on our housing list (as at end of March 2009). At the end of March 2011 this figure had grown to 3,222. So, although the CHR has improved access to our list, it also means that demand for our housing is higher than we can ever hope to meet.
