Accessing Housing with Wishaw and District Housing Association

Wishaw and District Housing Association participates in the North Lanarkshire Common Housing Register.  This is an Open Waiting List which means that anyone aged 16 or over can apply to us for housing, regardless of wherever they currently live, through any of the CHR Partners.

In addition, if North Lanarkshire Council has assessed someone as Statutory Homeless they may be referred via an agreement we have, known as a Section 5 Protocol, to assist them house homeless families.

Wishaw and District Housing Association also participates in the HomeSwapper scheme which helps people relocate to other parts of the UK for work or family support reasons.  The scheme works in the same way as Mutual Exchanges and helps tenants of social landlords identify other people who may wish to swap houses with them.

Wishaw and District Housing Association is a member of the scheme
so it is free to our own tenants but if your landlord is not a member, there may be a small fee.

Please note WDHA uses Caller Line Indentification.
All calls may be recorded for quality monitoring purposes.
